Passenger Terminal Building at Benghazi Airport, commisioned by the Libyan Civil Aviation Authority, has been constructed with a built up area of 80,000 sqm.

The Assystem Stup scope included preliminary and detailed design of the structural and mechanical work, and specifications. We undertook the detailed design of the building work and reports of the terminal building for Aéroports de Paris Ingénieurs.

The terminal is conceived with a complex roof structure in a large birdlike shell incorporating skylights. The sweeping aerodynamic roof is the signature element in the design of this prestigious terminal building.
