In view of the development vision of Anantapuramu, the Government having decided to allocate to the client with larger objectives extending beyond the planned growth of ULBs (Urban Local Bodies) of Anantapuramu, Hindupur, Dharmavaram & Penukonda and intends:  

• to revise the previously prepared master plan,  
• prepare a new master plan for Hindupur, Dharmavaram and for the 180 villages spread in 18 mandals. It comprises of 3,120.05 sq. km. with a population of 12,24,209. 

In this context, a joint venture of Assystem India Limited (AIL) and its partner was appointed to prepare the GIS based perspective plan, master plan and zonal development plans for the region comprising of 4 ULBs and 5 zones in Anantapuramu and Sri Sathya Sai district of Andhra Pradesh.  

The state government approved the master plans of the client.
