A Saudi organisation has the objective to develop industrial cities. One of its projects is considered by many to be the world’s biggest civil engineering project. It consists of several hundreds of km² of industrial development. A major construction project has been launched to cover the anticipated required power for commercial, residential and industrial facilities.

We have been appointed to deliver design services and technical support for all electrical facilities of the site. Our scope of work includes review of the master plan studies for phased development and review of construction contracts under execution, data gathering and identification of critical activities, preparation of scope book, project technical scope and design basis report, coordination with utilities providers for electricity and telecom and obtaining approvals, preparation of conceptual and detail design drawings / studies, special engineering studies, cost estimation and contracts packaging, support during the design and bidding stages, and support during construction of substations and other site-specific services, etc.
