Project Description
The Mahatma Gandhi International Conference Centre (MGICC) is a flexible and functional state-of-the-art meeting place, blended seamlessly into Niamey’s natural landscape. The MGICC, built in a limited time frame of 14 months, was created to honor the 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
The 16,265 sq.m. convention centre has the capacity to host 3300 guests together and is equipped with state-of-the-art features and facilities like presidential block, plenary hall, multi-function meeting and banquet hall, administration ministers’ block, and an exposition/ museum space depicting the life of Mahatma Gandhi.
Assystem Stup successfully carried out comprehensive architectural, structural and other specified consultancy services for the construction works of MGICC.
