The State’s Police Bhawan (Headquarters) in Lucknow aimed at creating more approachable image of Indian Police while having a striking signature architecture to break the typical mould of standard Indian government buildings. Besides having offices for the police force, it houses several public utilities like 500-seater auditorium, museum and a helipad.

Assystem Stup was mandated to design a modern iconic structure having state-of-the-art technology while being rooted in regional character. Our teams undertook surveys and geotechnical investigations and delivered comprehensive design services including masterplanning, architectural, interior and landscape design (in AutoCAD), and structural design (in ETABS & SAFE). Security and vigilance systems were also provided for to ensure the highest levels of security.

Thanks to our contribution in reducing energy consumption and waste generation, the building attained 4-star GRIHA rating (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment). The project also won “Outstanding Concrete Structure 2019” award in the category of Institutional Buildings from ICILC-UltraTech.
