The client needed technical support to complete a large project involving the production of a series of subsea distribution units, umbilical termination assemblies and pressure monitoring equipment.

In this context, we were appointed to provide design & structural integrity verification services, in particular to develop requirements specifications, produce manufacturing plans, write instruction and operating manuals, ensure liaising with the client’s collaborators and managing subcontracting tests and manufacturing. We provided a complete turnkey engineering service to the client in order to carry out complex engineering projects covering a range of onshore and offshore applications in the energy sector of several million pounds.

The customer benefitted from optimized and cost-effective solution thanks to cross-industry best practices, including the use of recent standards and methods and detailed structural analysis using finite element techniques. We provided flexibility of support to their internal teams and adjustment of response according to demand. We also ensured compliance with a variety of offshore standards from regulatory bodies.
