Anti-intrusion protection for 100 railway sites
France
Metros & railways
Project Description
A major railway industry player wanted to bolster the protection of its infrastructures against acts of vandalism, break-ins and other threats to sites.
It aimed to deploy a centralised monitoring system to increase surveillance capabilities to up to 100 sites and install protection equipment (video surveillance, detection, intrusion) for new sites and integrate them into the current system.
In this context, the client asked us to set up a security system comprising of equipment mainly for intrusion detection and video surveillance, all of which is supervised from the centralized security station.
We were tasked with designing and setting up of a centralised monitoring system, which is compatible with the master plan of the client’s information system (especially with the newly deployed video infrastructure). Preliminary site audits were undertaken for each site to customise the detection systems as per the unique nature of each sites and zones to be monitored. We also supported in deploying and commissioning in association with a partner company.
