Assystem, a major player in energy transition, is announcing its intention to acquire L&T Infrastructure Engineering Limited, an Indian subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro group composed of 431 employees.

This acquisition will complete Assystem’s engineering service offering in India and increase the company’s market share in the rail, transportation and energy sectors and bring enhanced capability in design and planning for projects.

L&T Infrastructure Engineering Limited has offices strategically located in cities across India such as Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai.  It has been a key player in design and consulting services for India’s transport and infrastructure development sector since its inception in 1998. Established as L&T-Rambøll Consulting Engineers Limited, the company became the wholly owned subsidiary of L&T in September 2014.

L&T Infrastructure Engineering Limited recorded a revenue of Rs.922 million in the Financial Year 2022-23.

The transaction is expected to be closed on or before the 15th of January 2024, subject to satisfaction of customary conditions precedent.
